- General Details
Micro Node Solutions for RFoG and Fiber-to-Coax Networks
Micro nodes are compact optical devices used in RFoG and FTTH deployments to convert optical signals into RF output at the subscriber level.
Maxcom micro nodes offer high RF output, AGC, and OBI mitigation for reliable performance in MDUs and residential environments.
The Maxcom MX700 series R-ONU’s are ideal for use in fiber to the home, MDU or business applications. These mini-nodes provide a reliable platform for delivering upstream and downstream DOCSIS, voice, video, and high speed data PON services over FTTX applications. They are designed compliant to industry standards to terminate an RF over Glass (RFoG) communications network. Compatible with G and XGS PON transmission modes, they include an optional optical PON port (WDM MUX) for pass through of the XPON or XGSPON downstream and upstream wavelengths. They can be used as a standalone RFoG based service, or as an overlay on a PON network. The bidirectional device uses a single fiber to receive downstream signals at 1550nm, and a 1610nm Isolated DFB return/upstream transmitter. Wavelengths and other features may be customized to your needs. Environmentally hardened and built with maximum toughness and the best in class warranty.
FTTH Mini Node Solutions for Fiber-to-the-Home Networks
An FTTH mini node converts optical signals into RF output for distribution within homes or buildings.
Maxcom FTTH mini nodes deliver high RF output, AGC, and OBI mitigation, supporting RFoG, GPON, XG(S)PON, and EPON deployments.
