- General Details
Maxcom SC Style Pluggable Blocking Filters are made for systems that offer RF Overlays and want to block the 1550nm Video Signal, yet allow G-PON and/or XGS PON (10G/XG-PON) services to pass. This solution is used for fiber to the home/premises (FTTx) with RF Overlay, for a simple, economic, high performance, and compact approach. The blocking filter is easily installed on existing ONU equipment, at the home demark, or elsewhere in the network, to block the 1550nm Video signal RF Overlay from being received by customers.
